A proud day for young Rhys Thomas, winner of the Maldwyn Lewis Memorial Rose Bowl contested by non-internationals.  Rhys's dad Dorian will also be very proud as his son will now take his place alongside him in the 2002 Welsh team to play Scotland.

Overall winner of the Challenge Cup on the day - Nigel James of Felinfach.
